B1-330 High Park Ave

Landlord wanted to increase my rent by 13%. Currently I pay $950 - all in. I told him he could only increase it 1.8%. He did not like that, got belligerent and petty. He said "I could not park my car in the back and also had to remove all my stuff from storage". Told him he could not take away what was already given. He called me back a week or two later wanting to come to an agreeable rent amount. I said 1.8% is all that I will agree to. He said ok. Then 2 weeks later I received an eviction notice in the mail stating he needs the unit to move someone in to take care of his mother. His mother lives in a unit above me and she is elderly. Landlord not yet successful in eviction as we will stay past eviction date.
