A blatant misuse of the clause - an eviction by other means - for organizing all the tenants, and then collectively calling in Public Health to force the landlord to treat an infestation (N12 issued January 2014 - I moved out April 2, 2015).

A person who was listed in City records as co-owner of the house needed to move into my room. (I checked City of Toronto records; at that time he was living in a house in Scarborough, I also checked that too - we staked out the house - his car was parked there early in the morning.)

He did move in - as far as I could tell (I moved one block east to Curzon Street, and I made a point of walking by the house regularly, his car was often parked behind the house; now I never see his car parked there any more).
