I have lived at my place for 11.5 years now. I live in a 3 bedroom of a monthly rent motel. In March of 2021 my place was sold.
The end of August 2021 my landlord told me that he was raising my rent by $350. On September 7th he told me that he can no longer afford to live at the place he lives in now and he needs me to sign an N10 that he send at that time to agree to pay the extra $350 starting the first day of December. If I did not sign, he said he would take this matter to the LTB.
On September 8 2021 I said that I would not be paying the rent increase due to the rent freeze for the year and that rent could not go up that much.
September 9th 2021 he sent me and N12 with the wrong postal code.
On September 13th 2021 he sent me a revised one.
