82 Grace Street, Toronto ON

My roommate and I are both professionals in our early 30's (have incredible references) when we moved into 82 Grace August of 2017.  It became clear very quickly that our landlord was not mentally equipped to be a landlord. Within a matter of weeks she had demanded absurd requests (asked us to pay for paint, home repairs, use certain cleaner on bathroom sink, turn recycle bins a certain way, pay a pet deposit even though she had allowed dogs on the advertisement) and also entered the apartment illegally, twice (which we have record of).  In August of 2018, after receiving over 200 emails (yes, 200 in the span of less than a year) we finally had enough and wrote her an email telling her we felt harassed and if it continued we would report her.  One month later we received an N12 form stating we had to leave by December 31st.  We then found out she had also served an N12 to the previous tenants, which we have been in contact with and the have confirmed.  I would like to escalate this as it has caused extreme stressed, and we still haven't landed on a reasonable living situation. (currently in Airbnb).
