Tenant was served with an N12 in April of 2023. Tenant had been residing at the residence since 2012 paying well below market value for a 3 bedroom upper floor apartment. The co-owner claimed her son needed the unit. Tenant decided to wait for a hearing. After the tenant advised they were waiting for a hearing the Landlords entered the unit repeatedly and messaged the Tenant repeatedly to try and force the tenant to leave. Hearing was scheduled for April of 2024. Hearing was adjourned in April for a date to be determined due to the LTB running out of time. New hearing date was scheduled Feb 2025. Tenant gave notice to leave at the end of April 2025. Landlord applied to have N12 withdrawn. Landlord moved son into vacant main floor unit in March of 2025. Landlords son didn't even move into the upper floor apartment. After tenant left the landlords renovated the unit and put the unit up for rent on Facebook marketplace in June of 2025.
